Why Choose Dirty Bird?
In our time in the cannabis industry, we have grown and pheno-hunted hundreds of strains. Our goal is only to release genetics that meet our high standards as growers and industry professionals. The genetics must be phenomenal in some way to make the cut; we must see something truly exceptional in them.
Quality, consistency, and stability are what we are after, and we tend to prioritize good terpenes, medium-to-high yields, dense bud structure, and high calyx-to-leaf ratios above anything else.
Grow Dirty. Fly High.

Meet the Team
Dirty Bird Genetics, led by North Atlantic Seed Co owner Beth Mathieu, with the help of head breeder Ben Morris and the Maine Clone Co team, is the culmination of a lifelong passion for genetics and devotion to the development of the grassroots cannabis industry in the US.
Dirty Bird is a woman-owned crew of family and friends that set out over a decade ago to carve a space for women in the cannabis industry in Maine and beyond.

QUICK FAQS
Are Dirty Bird Genetics seeds white label?
The seeds that Dirty Bird Genetics creates are absolutely not white label seeds. Dirty Bird Genetics works incredibly hard to phenohunt, breed, and test every single one of their creations, and they have never and will never repackage another breeder’s seeds and sell them as their own.
How many seeds come in a pack?
If multiple sizes are available, you’ll see a dropdown to select your size. For example, 3 pack = 3 seeds; 6 pack = 6 seeds, etc.
What are Testers?
Dirty Bird has a line of seeds called “Testers,” for lack of a better term. These strains have, in fact, been tested; however, we are not quite ready for release for one reason or another. There are many strains we test that never make it to the Tester menu or the main menu. We see potential in our Testers and we feel confident you’ll have a great experience growing them!
How should I store my seeds?
Seeds require a temperate, dark, completely dry storage space. Consistency is key: no spiking temperatures, humidity, etc. If the packaging has been opened or the seeds are not in a sealed vial inside the packaging, it is recommended to reseal the package and store them in an airtight container. For lengthy storage, a refrigerator can be used, but plan to germinate the seeds within 24 hours after taking them out of the fridge.
How do I place an order?
We process all orders directly through our website and communicate via email every step of the way. Orders must be placed through our site for accurate and secure processing. We do not accept orders over the phone.
When will my order ship?
We typically ship orders within 1-2 business days of receiving payment. During promotions or holidays, processing may take longer. You will receive an automated email with your tracking information when the package is ready for shipping.
Is shipping discreet?
Yes, we ship from Maine using a PO Box and personal name, not a business name. The outside of the package does not have our logo or business name. We also offer stealth shipping to conceal seed packs if needed.
Do you ship internationally?
At this time, we only ship within the continental US, Alaska, and Hawaii.
